Farbman Group Hires Paul Martin as General Manager

Farbman Group, a Southfield, Mich.-based, full-service commercial real estate company, announced today the appointment of Paul Martin as General Manager of Fashion Square Mall in Saginaw, Michigan. Farbman Group CEO Andrew V. Farbman made the announcement.

“We are thrilled to welcome Paul into our expanding real estate management team,” said Farbman. “With over 38 years of experience in the industry, I’m confident that his veteran knowledge of property management and operations will translate into the strategic growth and success of Fashion Square Mall.”

As General Manager, Martin will be responsible for increasing asset value. This includes managing mall personnel, creating a cohesive team, as well as handling tenant relations and overseeing the budget.

“I am pleased to have the opportunity to take my 19 years of experience working at Fashion Square Mall and translate it into my position as General Manager,” said Martin. “I have an intimate understanding of the property, how it operates, and what makes it a special asset to the Saginaw market. I look forward to playing a critical role in establishing Fashion Square Mall as the leading retail destination in the Great Lakes Bay Region.”

Martin is actively involved with local business organizations and has developed a strong partnership with local city officials as former President of the Hampton Business Association, and former board member of the Bay Area Chamber of Commerce. He has also earned his Certified Shopping Center Manager (CSM) designation from the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).
